It's MY mess damnit :p
May. 11th, 2006 12:07 amDo mothers all go to the same school to learn their nagging or something? Here is what I really don't understand: It's my room. No one else ever goes in. I spend most of my time at home in it. So if I don't mind how messy it is, why should she? Especially since its not dirty (as in attracting cockroaches and other life forms), its only messy (books and clothes everywhere). And i don't have any trouble finding anything in it, because it's MY mess, as personal to me as the way she puts her clothes away in her own wardrobe. Sure, I could put it all away if I really wanted to, but I don't see the point because I honestly am pretty comfortable this way. Furthermore, putting stuff away would probably actually decrease my overall efficiency because then I would be opening drawers every two seconds to take stuff out again and then put it back in when I was finished.
On the other hand, I could always shock her for Mother's Day and give it the best tidying its had in months . The alternative would be to make a screen or something to put in front of the door so that she won't be able to see the mess :p Out of sight, out of mind.
